Lesson plans can be found at multiple Web sites,
including many of the sites listed under other categories.
The locations below offer well-organized collections that
can be searched easily for particular topics.

Search Engines
A search engine is an online tool that finds Web pages
containing words or phrases that you specify - put phrases
in quotes, such as "Civil War." Since each of the examples
below has unique strengths, it makes sense to try several
(the last three allow you to search using multiple search
engines simultaneously).

Curriculum Resource Centers
There are multiple online curriculum resource centers
that are maintained by professional associations,
foundations, state and federal agencies, colleges and
universitites. Most of these are specialized by content or
teaching level, and the general sites offer resources in
multiple areas.

Information Indexes
An Information index is simply a set of topic menus and
sub-menus where you can narrow selections progressively to
find what you need. Yahoo is the most popular, but there are
other choices, including indexes customized for
students.
