First and Last Day of School

All Claremont school classes begin Wednesday, September 9, 2008
The last day of school is Thursday, June 17, 2010 (minimum day)

Kindergarten Registration Information and Links

Children are eligible to enroll in kindergarten if their fifth birthday falls on or before December 2nd following the September start of kindergarten. A birth certificate or baptismal certificate is required as proof of age at the time of kindergarten registration. Proof of immunization against polio, diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus, measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), hepatitis B series, varicella, and results of a Mantoux intradermal tuberculin test. Kindergarten registration is held during the spring prior to the start of school in September. For more information on registration go here.

Child Care Program

The District provides a school age child day care program at Chaparral, Condit Mountain View, Oakmont, Sumner, Sycamore and Vista del Valle elementary schools. Children may arrive as early as 7:00 a.m. and stay as late as 6:00 p.m. For more information about the program, call (909) 398-0373 or click here.
