Vista del Valle Elementary School

Activities/Services Description
Claremont Tutorial Centers, Lissa Petersen, Pitzer College, Shirley Butler, Director            Pomona USD At Vista del Valle Townhomes, volunteer Claremont Colleges tutors help Vista students with homework.Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
America Reads Reading tutoring for 3rd and 4th grade students.
Claremont Tutorial Program Tutors assist teachers at various locations in the District. There are currently 11 college students involved in this program.
Computer donations Donated used computers to Claremont Tutorial Centers, which serve Mountain View and Vista del Valle students.
Pitzer Volunteer Group, Halloween in the Halls Provide a safe, fun Halloween experience for children of Claremont families in the dormitory halls
Jumpstart Program Early childhood education program that focuses on literacy, language and social skills, is in 3 Claremont Unified School District preschools. We just started our program in CUSD this year.
