| Sycamore is a founding member of LEEP, which is done in collaboration with Pitzer College. |
Staff and students work in concert with Pitzer personnel to expand LEEP – an environmentally focused educational program, which makes students more aware and appreciative of their natural surroundings. |
| College Interns from Rick Tsujimoto's class completed their projects at Sycamore. |
There were three projects;An intern worked with 12 girls on math and science activities. The students did a PowerPoint presentation on a famous woman mathematician, visited Harvey Mudd labs and worked on geometry theorems;An intern worked in a kindergarten setting, then did a report on early literacy and the effects of NCLB; andAn intern taught dance, movement and music activities from three different Asian cultures to ten different classes over an eight-week period. |
